Album Of The Week – Fontaines D.C. “Skinty Fia”

Who: Fontaines D.C.

What: Skinty Fia

Where: Dublin, Ireland

Why: Post-punk is a self explanatory term, music from England in the late 1970s that emerged after punk. The term is time and place specific. Fast forward 45 years and now post-punk refers to music sounding like it is from that era. Fountaines D.C. are neither from England nor are they from the 70s, however they do happen to be one of the most vital rock bands in the world today.
